This weekend I became aware that a forum user on the Ontario Landlord Association site was using a picture of my son that I posted on this blog months ago in this post.
The user named RECarnival is using a picture stolen from this site, and it’s a picture of a 3 year old child.
When I became aware of the situation 2 days ago, I emailed them nicely asking them to remove the picture.

You protect landlords? What about little kids? Sincerely from me, you guys are a bunch of assholes.
I hope this post come up first in Google page results for anyone inquiring about your site. Jerks. You can ignore all the emails you like but I’ll keep writing about what a bunch of tools you are until the picture of my son is removed from your site.

I think that’s absolutely horrible. You would think being a landlord association that they would KNOW that’s wrong. I hope you’re able to get the picture taken down. I’m a mother and I would feel the exact same way is someone used a picture of my daughter.
Yeah I had to take down their site to get the picture off… I asked first, it wasn’t their fault that a forum user used the picture, but after 2 days with no reply I contacted their web host.
Checkout their reporting welfare fraud forum. Margret posts that after a tenant left, a letter from the welfare dept threatened to cut off the former tenant from her cheques. How did Margret know that? I thought that personal mail was only to be opened… and read… by the addressee. Margret is lucky Canada Post is not aware of this action. Margret may soon have to change their userid to REgret.
This is pretty questionable behaviour.
