Where else can we put condos?

I don’t mean to be cynical but the condo building boom has gone pretty far. I’ve seen this city sprout condos on what seems like every piece of vacant land, every parking lot, old buildings, newer building and everything in between.

I really thought I’d seen condos everywhere but a mental hospital ? Surely not, but that is so 2015 to threaten to tear down CAMH and propose to build condos there. (Thanks Brookfield)

Today I saw an even wackier proposal, I mean what says coocoo crazy condo Canada more than bolting condos onto the side of the CN tower, and why not? That stupid tower is just standing up there changing colours when it could be holding up condos. Hopefully the freeking glass wouldn’t fall on the tourists, because nothing says tourism like decapitation eh?

FYI it looks like the CN Tower caught something that only the public health nurse can fix…

In other news, Mayor John Tory is allowing garden sheds to be rented out to provide affordable housing. This will be allowed for the city development fee of $37,500 and will be an investment that will add to the value of your home, new home buyers will be able to add the income from their garden shed to their income for mortgage qualifying purposes.

The more they build, the more I rent so I can’t complain.

It’s all good…
